Local angler Ben Whitlock has managed his biggest fish yet from the Solent this year. Ben who has caught many 20lb plus fish this year has finally managed he ultimate goal with this 31lb Cod.
We rarely get 30lb plus fish from the Solent and when you see one they really do look impressive!

Bens friend James Taylor has been rumoured to have caught a 33lb Cod also this week again from the Solent. I wonder if there are any 40lb plus fish out there??
