Mopley Pond Winter Carping.

George West continues to shine as an up and coming angler on the local carp scene. George has been concentrating his winter efforts on Mopley Pond in Langley just down the road from the shop.

He landed this fantastic Common of 25lb on the nose last week just after the pond had thawed.

The beauty of catching any carp this time of year is that the water is usually very clear and this puts some great colour into the fish. As you can see this common has turned a fantastic golden brown.
George also fished Mopley last night and landed this low 20lber, not bad for this time of year.

Picture to follow….

Well done George keep up the good work.
